When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. When you create notifications ("scandizzles"), we collect the notification name, description, and mobile phone numbers you provide for SMS delivery.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Scandizzle service:

• Your email and password are used for account authentication.
• Your notification descriptions are sent to an AI service (Anthropic Claude) to search for relevant information on your behalf.
• Phone numbers you provide are used exclusively to send SMS notifications via Twilio when relevant information is found matching your notification criteria.

3. SMS Messaging

By providing a phone number when creating a notification, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Scandizzle at the frequency you select (hourly, every 3 hours, twice daily, or daily). Messages will only be sent when our AI monitoring finds information relevant to your notification description.

• Message frequency: Varies based on your selected schedule and whether relevant information is found. Maximum messages per day depends on your chosen frequency.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• To stop receiving messages: You can pause or delete any notification from your dashboard at any time, remove a phone number from a notification, or text STOP to our number to opt out of all messages.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is shared only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the service:

• Anthropic — Your notification descriptions are sent to the Claude AI API to perform monitoring searches.
• Twilio — Phone numbers and message content are sent to Twilio for SMS delivery.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

6. Data Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deleting your account permanently removes all your personal information, notifications, phone numbers, and notification history from our system.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email or through the service.
